Gifted with an expressive voice and guitar skills and a gift for poetic lyrics that capture the magic and tragedy of everyday life, he’s gained plenty of accolades in the last half decade since his debut album. He was a finalist in CBC Radio’s Searchlight competition a few years ago and it’s not hard to see why – this is an artist to watch.

Aside from being a FANTASTIC tongue-twister (James Hill and Anne Janelle, James Hill and Anne Janelle…), James Hill and Anne Janelle are an award-winning folk duo who combine the sumptuous sound of the cello with the bright shine of the ukulele! They won a Canadian Folk Music Award for their album True Love Don’t Weep and are two of the most promising artists on the folk circuit today!

Seriously, their sound is astounding, warm and clear and infused with sunshine. Don’t miss them when the play the Living Sky Casino Event Centre on April 9!
